Orbit Research Ltd was set up in January 1994 by Ian Jones, Gavin Foster and John Rogers (then Chairman of Multipoint Communications Ltd). Since then Multipoint Communications was sold and has eventually ceased trading. Orbit Research Ltd is now fully independent, and is wholly owned by its current Directors, Ian Jones and Gavin Foster.

We have carried out hardware and software development in the field of professional satellite communication earth station engineering for companies and major PTTs all around the World.
