Secondary Education

Project aim:

  • To improve achievement in science and maths
  • To widen knowledge of the natural world
  • To develop team skills
  • To promote science and engineering as career subjects
  • To encourage gender equality in science and engineering

As space industry engineers at Orbit Research, we are very well aware of the importance of Secondary Education as the cornerstone of science and mathematics learning.

Space and space science have relevance in all areas of science and maths study. We are developing curriculum support materials that engage students in real science and engineering problems. We aim to stimulate a wide range of skills.

Our on-line resources will include space flight and mission control simulation. Students will be able to take part in realistic space science missions.
