D-Star is a professional quality satellite internet solution offering high speed, independent 2-way duplex satellite internet connectivity.

The system does not use telephone lines, therefore it can be located anywhere within the satellite footprint, and provide instant broadband internet access.

The heart of the D-Star unit is a flexible satellite internet modem and IP router which can be configured to provide a number of different data rates, VPN access, IP addresses and many other internet services.

Eutelsat operates D-Star hub stations using several different satellites giving us the wide flexibility to provide service in many countries in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

The D-Star system will support more than one PC or Apple MAC connection per terminal, and we have recommendations for the number of PCs to be connected for each level of service.

Installation

The D-Star satellite internet terminal is installed by our professional installation team. This can generally be arranged within two weeks of order (sometimes more rapidly).

The standard installation in the UK consists of a 90cm antenna mounted on a wall or flat roof. This is linked to the indoor unit, which then connects to your computer or network via Ethernet cable.

Prices

Prices are quoted for United Kingdom installations and assume a standard installation. We reserve the right to alter the price in unusual circumstances or where we necessarily incur additional costs.

Static public IP addreses are available on D-Star 1024+ and 2048 services, and are charged at £20 per address per year.

For non UK systems, we will provide a quotation based on additional expenses incurred. Please note that we have partnership arrangements in some countries.

How do I order this system?

Please contact us. We require cleared funds prior to installation, and we prefer to use a standing order for the monthly subscription.

The standard contract is for 1 year and it is extended monthly thereafter.
